Holiday Inn Express & Suites Emporia Northwest by IHG

Over the past year I've probably spent 3 months in this hotel. Out of all the time I have spent here I only have one complaint which is very shallow on my part. The good things about this hotel the rooms are comfortable beds are comfortable and clean you can actually control the temperature in the room and set things that are comfortable level for you. Every room I have stated in has its own coffee pot, fridge and microwave. The Continental breakfast puts all other continental breakfasts to shame. What they serve in the mornings is insulting to call it a continental breakfast. They have eggs, waffles, muffins, sausage links, bacon and any kind of cereal you would want. The coffee isn't bad, I've definitely had better but I've also had much worse. They have a nice selection of drinks for your breakfast as well including milk orange juice and apple juice. Did I also mention they have bacon! I've never brought my pet here but at each one of my stays I have seen plenty of others with their pets. Now to the best part of this hotel. The showers are amazing! As I'm writing this review I just got out of the shower. I spent an hour and a half in the shower with the massager and I never ran out of hot water. I can't even do that at home. Now for the one downside to this hotel. And this is only a downside if you're a smoker. They don't have any smoking rooms. So when you get that urge for a cigarette you have to go outside. Well that's not that big of a problem. I don't smoke inside my home anyway I always smoke outside at home as well. however the track outside is a bit of a pain because there's only one elevator in the direct center of the building and it never fails I am always on the second or third floor at one of the ends not anywhere near the elevator. But that's really the only downside. Every time my employer ask me to come and work the Kansas systems I always tell him sure but you have to put me up at the Holiday inn Express in Emporia Kansas or I won't go. So if you're traveling through Kansas and you need to stop for the night this is a good place. If you're going to be here for a visit this is still a good place. Easy access from interstate 35 and you have plenty of restaurants close by. There's also a Walmart right next door almost. Either way it's a great hotel and I just had to leave the best review I could.

I booked this hotel about 10mins before arrival due to needing a place to sleep while on a road trip. I didn't care much about where I was going, I just needed a bed and when I walked in I was smiling! The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I met some sweet people while there. The front desk staff was incredibly nice, both shifts. We had our dog with us and although there's a fee ($30), we didn't mind. There was grassy areas to walk her and not too much time downstairs. Our dog even loved the room (not the elevator, but thats her preference). The beds were soo comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great! Definitely adding to my list if I ever need to go back through!

This was our first time staying here and we had a great stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We slept well in a comfortable bed and it was quiet. Pets are welcome which is always nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful and a nice hour breakfast was available which is always nice

Great hotel! Clean, quiet, priced well, inexpensive pet fee, beds were comfy. We were going to stay in Wichita (but didn’t feel safe there), so we ended up changing our plans to stay in Emporia. Plenty of places to eat nearby, plus free breakfast (sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, pastry, yogurt, bagels, fruit, milk and juice). We would definitely stay here again.

Holiday Inn in Emporia is a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is tasty, and there are excellent amenities, including a swimming pool and a fitness center. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. A solid choice for a comfortable stay!

Location was great. Very close to I-95 Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom was very clean with new furniture and fixtures. Beds were very comfortable as well. Walmart and many food and gas options near by. Breakfast had many options including both hot and cold.

As an individual that relies on a roll in shower for accessibility needs, I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. After traveling all day and "significant" miscommunication on the part of my parent, they were gracious and kind enough to set up two separate rooms to accommodate the need. I highly recommend this as a comfortable and accommodating place for all your hotel needs.

We have a great experience! Clean. Smell good. A lot towels. Great breakfast!
